That pesky groundhog has again sentenced us to 6 more weeks of cold weather. I've been here in Northeast Ohio for 40 years now, and I'm starting to think the groundhog just lies. I mean really, how often do we have a sunny day this time of year?! Having said this, I kind of like winter. It feels good to sit by a warm fire with some hot chocolate and watch the bird feeder outside. And the birds and squirrels provide way more entertainment than the TV and the snow is a lovely white blanket of silence. 2020 was one hell of a year and I hope we can all find some peace as we head in 2021.
