Here we are again, another busy summer with tiime seemingly just flyiing by. Mother Nature has been grumpy, sending alternating heat waves and buckets of rain. Souonds a lot like menopause, and serves to remind me that we need to take care of Mother Earth or she may decide to retire on us. The combinatin of heat and rain has created a massive patch of ripe tomatoes, and an accompanying urgency to find them all good homes, I love tomatoes, although I dread the work of them, and the annual onslaught of ripening tomatoes always reminds me to stop to take time to thank all farmers for the endless hours of work they do each year. So, if you're reading this, stop and take a minute to appreciate all the folks, near and far, who work to bring you fresh vegetables, fruit and grain every day!
